Men’s Book Club:
The Congregational Church of Austin’s men’s book club started in 1992. It includes men from the church and friends of church members. Meetings are hosted monthly by members of the club. In January, the club makes its selections for the year from recommendations by members. The subjects are diverse; they include histories, novels, mysteries, religion, science, and politics. Once each summer, a session on poetry is hosted by the Briggs family at their Lake Travis home. A club web site provides more details.
