The Congregational Church of Austin, UCC is a small, inclusive, welcoming, progressive church located in the heart of Austin near the University of Texas. We are affiliated with the United Church of Christ, a Christian denomination that promotes spirituality, peace, justice, education and freedom throughout the world.

Austin Congregational Church is a faith community where members accept and encourage spiritual seeking and diversity. Recognizing that God's truth is greater than any of us can perceive, we make room for all who seek God. We provide a place for members and friends to gather not only for worship and study, but for fellowship, outreach and fun. We open our building for community services and for the study, worship and meditation needs of other religious groups.

Our Mission Statement reflects our commitment to seek and celebrate God's presence and calling in our lives:

WE ARE A PEOPLE UNITED IN CHRIST,
We are called to be a loving and inclusive community of faith, united and uniting, welcoming all people, in the name of Christ who welcomes us.

SINGING GOD'S PRAISES,
We are called to invite all people to join us in the life-renewing worship of God, crying out in our brokenness, celebrating God's grace and blessings on us.

SEEKING GOD'S WAYS,
We are called to discover God's word in the Bible, in our rich heritage, in faithful witness to the living Word, and in the fresh winds of the Spirit.

SERVING GOD'S WORLD,
We are called to promote the integrity, justice, mercy and peace God intends for all creation, reaching out in ministries and partnerships of prophetic criticism and care.

AND SHARING LIFE'S JOURNEY.
We are called to support one another and share in the hopes and fears, joys and sorrows of all God's people, both in the church and in the world.

We welcome you to join us in singing God's praises, seeking God's ways, serving God's world and sharing life's journey. We gather for Christian Education at 10:00 am and worship at 11:00 am every Sunday.

We look forward to meeting you!
